Who is permitted to collect your child from Flyers activities?

Please provide the full name, relationship to child & contact number for any friends or family members you authorise to drop off and collect your child. (If lift sharing with another Flyers family, please detail this in the 'Lift Sharing' section).

Lift Sharing

Due to safeguarding guidance given by our governing body, Flyers strongly recommends against lift sharing with other families within the club. If choosing to lift share, please ensure you follow the guidelines below:

Under no circumstances should a child be left one on one with an adult that is not their parent or guardian
Clear arrangements must be made directly between parents
Safe practices must be followed regarding safeguarding, car seats, vehicle safety, insurance etc.
When lift sharing collecting adults must take responsibility for passing on messages given by coaches to the parent or guardian, eg in the event of minor injury
Any issues or concerns should be reported to the club welfare officer

If lift sharing, please provide the full name and contact number of all adults that you authorise to collect your child.

Permission to leave the club independently

Flyers recommend that parents collect their child from the club drop off point regardless of age. This reduces the risk from external factors and ensures coaches can pass on any information easily eg. in the event of an injury.

Members aged 11 years and under will not be permitted to leave independently.
Regardless of whether walking to the car park or travelling home alone, Flyers cannot accept any responsibility for members once they have been dismissed from class.
We ask that parents have a way to contact their child at all times.
Parents must keep up to date with term dates and club closures so that their child does not arrive at the club when no sessions are running.
