Understanding Our Training Fees & Payment Policy
At Flyers Sports Academy, we want to make sure all parents understand how our training fees work, when payments are collected and how we manage planned and unplanned club closures.
Our payment structure is designed to keep monthly fees consistent and straightforward throughout the year. Here's everything you need to know!

1. Annual Membership Fee
When joining Flyers Sports Academy, you will be asked to pay our annual membership fee straight away.
This membership fee covers your child for the full membership year and is separate from your monthly training fees.
2. When Are Training Fees Collected?
Monthly training fees are collected automatically on the 1st of each month using the payment method registered to your Class4Kids account.
If your child joins partway through a month, you will still be charged for the sessions they attend during that month. Rather than taking a separate payment straight away, a covering payment will be added to the following month's fees to cover the sessions attended from their joining date.
For example, if your child joins on 15th September, the fees for the September sessions attended will be added to their October payment.
3. Why Are Monthly Fees The Same Each Month?
Our training fees are calculated across the full training year and divided into 11 equal monthly payments. This means your monthly subscription stays the same regardless of how many sessions fall within a particular month.
Some months may have more training sessions than others due to the calendar, school holidays or planned venue closures. However, the overall number of sessions across the training year is taken into consideration when setting our fees.
This approach allows us to offer parents predictable, consistent monthly payments without the cost changing from month to month.
4. What Happens During Planned Club Closures?
Throughout the year, there may be occasions when the club is closed due to planned breaks, school holidays, examination periods or pre-arranged venue closures.
These closures are already factored into our annual training fees and the overall number of sessions offered throughout the training year.
Therefore, planned closures are not refunded, and replacement sessions are not provided.
This is because your monthly payments are calculated with these closures already taken into account, meaning you are not paying extra for sessions that are not scheduled to take place.
5. What Happens During Unplanned Club Closures?
Occasionally, circumstances outside of our control may mean we have to cancel a session unexpectedly.
Examples include:
Severe weather conditions.
Unforeseen venue or facility closures.
Other unexpected circumstances that prevent us from safely running a session.
In these situations, where the club has to cancel a session unexpectedly, a replacement session will be added to the end of the term.
We will always do our best to minimise disruption to your child's training and ensure they receive the sessions they are entitled to.
Changing or Cancelling Your Child's Class
We understand that circumstances can change and you may occasionally need to move your child to a different class or cancel their place altogether.
If you wish to change or cancel your child's class, we must be notified by the 10th of the current month. If we receive notification after the 10th, your following month's payment will still be processed as usual.
For example, if you wish to cancel your child's place for November, we must receive your cancellation request by 10th October. If we are notified after this date, the November payment will still be due.
This notice period allows us to manage class numbers, allocate spaces to children on our waiting lists and organise our monthly subscriptions.
